Aussie's observations
Suitable for:  Ponds, Aquariums and Industrial use
What we liked:  The prices and quality makes this product great value for money. Of the units we have sold so far we have had no negative feed back.
What we did not like:  # see yellow message below, however, the quality is good and excellent value for money.
Less than ideal:  Does not have the spiral action around the UV lamp , so that water passes through the unit without the exposure that is possible on
Possible drawbacks:  None we have found at the price point, as we sell more and more our confidence is growing

Quartz lamp cover tube - Quartz allows up to 95% of the UV rays to pass through it and penetrate the water where it can act on the algae. Materials used in many other UVC units on the market such as plain glass and plastic only allow 30% and 50% of UV rays to pass through them respectively.

Simple to install - Simply connect the hose to the inlet and outlet

Translucent stepped hose tails -The UV light causes the hose tails to glow indicating when the lamp is operating. The steps in the hose tails enable the correct diameter of hose to be attached to the UVC, so that they are working at their most efficient.

# Very important note..... We believe that the pond size, flow through UVC and pump recommendation by Pondmaster on this product is overstated, we are therefore only quoting what we believe to be the correct performance.

*Depends on a dozen different factors (call us for help 1800 607 388)  
**Without bypass (A larger pump can be used provided the maximum flow through the UVC is not exceeded)  It is critical for the ponds health that the water does not pass through the UVC too quickly otherwise the UV light can not do it's job correctly. .
