| Here are some photos for your
brag book. I've used a Laguna max-flo 9000 pump; fish mate 15000 UV filter
and associated fittings. Xavan liner is used beneath the water fall rocks on
a massive bed of sand (2-3 tonnes of pm64 sand used in there me thinks) and
the rest of the pond is lined with pro-liner 1.0mm. The pro-liner is on a
bed of approximately 100mm of pm64 sand, also on top of carpet. Carpet and
underlay used on the sidewalls for piece of mind.
I also plumbed pressure
water to the pond on a float type valve to regulate the water level, and
also incorporated an overflow to the stormwater drain for heavy rainfalls
etc.
Total size is approximately 2.5m x 4.5m and an average depth of 600mm. At
present the water clarity is average and the landscaping/pondscaping is
incomplete, I'll pass more photos as they arrive......
