note, if using a waterfall or a long hose between pump and filter the pump

About Biotec filters
The patented silt disposal system allows quick and easy cleaning of the
filter and ensures if used correctly the continued development of
micro-organisms.
These filters are generally pump fed filters and multi chamber filters,
which do not only mechanically filter out dirt from the pond water but also
encourage the colonisation of special micro-organisms for the biological
filtration process.
Biotec was scientifically developed and tested, and guarantees that
if used according to the instructions and in round the clock operation,
crystal clear and biologically sound pond water.
Biotec 4 is the smallest filter in this range. It is a 4-stage
filter. The UVC clarifier Bitron 9 is available as an accessory and can be
simply installed inside the filter without the need for any other
accessories.
Biotec 5.1 and Biotec 10.1
Biotec
12, 18 & 36
Biotec 30 is an innovative development
for large ponds with Koi. With Biotec 30 and its integrated drain, the
facility to remove filtered particles and the biological decomposition of
superfluous nutrients. Oase has once again achieved a superior technological
lead in the market. This multi-chamber filter features, apart from the brush
chamber, an innovative woven mat which increases the extraction of large
dirt particles and thereby makes the work for the micro organisms in the
later stages of the filtration process easier. The connection to Bitron 15
to 72 UV clarifiers
and a Aquamax or Promax pump is
possible without the need for any further parts.

Only
on the basis of independent scientific evidence can our aim of
offering the optimum product be guaranteed. On behalf of OASE-PUMPEN
GmbH, the Munster-based company BIOLOGIC Gesellschaft fur
Biotechnology und Umweltschutz mbH & Co.KG drew up scientific
studies looking at the biological principles and providing
assessments of filter pumps, UV-prefilters and filter units.
BIOLOGIC explains the fundamental principles of the interaction in
the nutrient balance of a garden pond and finally applies these in
relation to the Biotec filters. For more detailed information please
read the
online version.
Furthermore, an assessment system was drawn up, which was used to test
the efficiency and performance of OASE filter pumps, UV-pre-filters
and filter units. |
