For years at OASE has stood for quality, power and
reliability.
The Classic is a pump that has proven it's reliability for many years, in
fact it was imported into Australian until about two years ago, but by popular
demand is being reintroduced Early September '04 with many improvements. |

Aussie's observations
|
|
Suitable for: Pond features, statuary
fountains, water wall spillways |
What we liked:
Like all Oase products, everything. The features and attention to detail is
superb, the best all round pump
we have found with these features and quality. The low power
usage.
5 year warranty on everything including* the impeller. *No other company
offers a 5 year impeller warranty to our knowledge. Great value for money when
considering the life span. |
|
Less than ideal:
Does not have an in-built flow control, however, this can be added in-line or
see Oase Neptun for flow control (up to 6,000
lph) |

*Based
on running a pump 24/7 continuously for one year. The formula we use is $1.20
per watt per year. (Some states will be slightly less, while some will be up to
30% higher)
**A thermal shut
off pump will stop working to protect the pump if it over heats (The main
cause is lack of water flow or debris caught in the impeller) |

**Head
/ shut off - The higher the water is
pumped, the less the flow until the maximum pumping height is reached. It is
critical that this is understood, this height is where the water stops flowing. |
