with a pump, water is drawn through the filter

These filters serve two purposes, they
dramatically increase the filtering ability of a pump, also the size of the foam
allows micro organisms to grow inside the filter creating a biological
environment.
**If the pump has a male thread, a Female/female
threaded socket is also required |

To install the pre filter, first remove the
smaller internal filter and cover, then simply screw onto the water inlet
Note:
Using a pre filter will reduce flow through the pump,
so we suggest using one pump size larger |
