AlgaeFix - Pond Algaecide

Purpose and Benefits:
AlgaeFix is a liquid algae-control product for use in ornamental fishponds, water gardens, fountains, and freshwater aquariums. AlgaeFix is approved for use in ponds and aquariums containing live plants and fish. AlgaeFix controls many types of algae including "green water" blooms and filamentous algae. AlgaeFix is colourless and non-corrosive.

Directions for Use:
Use 5ml per 200 litres of aquarium/pond water. Repeat dose every three days until algae is controlled. Siphon or scrape any left over dead algae. Once algae growth is under control, add one doe every 5 days. Weekly doses of AlgaeFix will control algae growth and reduce maintenance.

When algae dies it consumes great amounts of the pond’s supply of dissolved oxygen. Killing all the algae at once can be disastrous if proper precautions are not taken.

• Aerate the pond heavily when using AlgaeFix™.
• Never use the product at dusk or at night when oxygen levels are low.
• Do not treat the pond and leave. Keep an eye on the fish during treatment and if the fish come to the surface as if gasping for air make an immediate water change to dilute the treatment!
