What we liked: .These pumps are Australian made by one of our best and respected pump manufacturers.  Excellent pumping heights. Great value for money
Suitable for:  Waterfalls, streams, large pond circulation, aquaculture
Not suitable for: 24/7 running*. Filters unless the are mounted high enough to overcome the high head  *Unless the 413 - 24/7 model is purchased with it's modified internals

*Based on running a pump 24/7 continuously for one year. The formula we use is $1.20 per watt per year. (Some states will be slightly less, while some will be up to 30% higher)

Suction and discharge pipes... should be equal or larger than the plum inlet and discharge  (if possible inlet larger than discharge)

Priming .... To prime pump , remove priming plug on to of the pump and fill with suction pipe with water. Replace plug and start pump. (a check or foot valve is required)

Suction limit .... The practical limit is 6m, depending on installation

**Head / shut off - The higher the water is pumped the less the flow, until the maximum pumping height is reached. It is critical that this is understood, this height is where the water stops flowing.
